Usk Castle Chase , Monmouth Road, Usk
(not for correspondence)
Set in 14 acres of Monmouthshire countryside and surrounded on three sides by mature woodland, the burial ground is a peaceful and uplifting place for reflection and remembrance. The meadow has far reaching views to the south and south-west over the Usk Valley. The ridge of mature trees along the eastern edge of the meadow is carpeted with bluebells in late spring. The oak shelter next to the meadow can be used for gatherings before or after a funeral. The ceiling of the oak shelter houses memorial plaques bearing the names of those buried at Usk Castle Chase. The Tithe Barn at Usk Castle can also be used for gatherings. The cost is £200 for use of the barn, garden and castle loos. VisitThe site is open all year round during daylight hours so please feel free to visit without making an appointment.
