We are open and are able to offer funerals, natural burial and ashes interment.
Visitors are welcome at the natural burial ground but we do ask that Coronavirus guidance is followed. You can find our latest guidance and COVID-19 update for funerals and visitors here.
Meadow Burial Meadow
Usk Castle Chase's tranquillity is typical of the surrounding Monmouthshire countryside. Unhurried, tranquil and private, it offers something gentler. A place of escape, away from it all.
The peace and beauty of the countryside is special, whatever the season. Somewhere to connect with nature, sense the elements and feel replenished. It allows you time and space to focus your mind, a place to reflect on life, love and loss.
Our aim is to provide peaceful resting places in beautiful countryside. Places for people to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world.
The meadow offers time and space to do things your way. Whether arriving on horseback, bringing the dogs, erecting a marquee or keeping things very simple, you have the scope and freedom to do as you wish.
People say there's an odd sense of inner-peace knowing that one day they too will be there - somewhere they know, somewhere they feel happy.

Years ago I found this quote from Psalm 103 to describe Usk. I still think it sums it up perfectly. "As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more."
